Week 39 Sensory Activity - Oobleck

Oobleck is a funny name for the weird substance that is corn starch + water.

It's such a fun thing to play with even as an adult - it turns to a powdery solid when squeezed, and then turns back into a liquid when released.

Make this with your child (have them mix it around with their hands!) and then show them how to grab it and release it. Add some food coloring to make it even more fun.

You'll want to make a large batch of oobleck so you can really grab it with your hands, so a large container of corn starch is best.
