This week is a simple and fun sensory activity - playing with craft pom poms in water. Get a large bin or bowl, add some water, and throw in a bunch of craft pom poms of all sizes (get large ones if your child is likely to put the pom poms in his or her mouth, and always watch them closely!).

You can get extra containers and have your child sort the pom poms by colors, and transfer the pom poms back and forth with their hands, a spoon, or fun tongs for the extra bonus of a fine motor skill activity.

Don't have pom poms?? Use cotton balls, pieces of yarn, or felt instead!

Psst, if you happened to come across this page and are wondering what the heck this is all about: We are doing the 52 Weeks of Sensory challenge. Come join us!
