Sensory activities are great for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers year-round. But something about Summer ending and Fall starting makes me want to do more activities indoors. Here's a list of 15 activities to do with your little ones in the Fall. These activities will expose your kids to new textures, smells, sounds, and learning opportunities.

One thing I feel like I did not do enough with my son when he was a baby and toddler was sensory activities. I only learned about the benefits of sensory play once my son started having trouble with picky eating.
So once I realized that I should be doing sensory activities with him regularly, I came up with a list of sensory activities and I am always adding more to me to-do list. So here are some seasonal ones to try!

Easy Fall Sensory Activities for Toddlers and Preschoolers
Slime might be every parent's worst nightmare, but it's such a great material for sensory play! This blog post will show you how to make your own Fall slime!
Sponge painting is one of the easiest sensory activities to set up for kids! This can be done by kids as young as 18 months! And if you like the idea of sponge painting, check out this other sponge painting activity for Valentine’s Day.
Make a leaf wreath with your little ones from a paper plate and some gorgeous Fall leaves. If you live in an area where the leaves change colors, go outside and collect some pretty leaves. If not, then simply print out the PDF with the colorful leaves, cut them out, and let your kiddo glue them on!
